At-Home Beauty Devices vs Clinic Treatments: The Real 2026 Cost Breakdown
Share
The short answer
A single clinic HIFU or light-therapy session in the UK typically costs £239–£889, and most treatment plans require 2–4 sessions per year. A quality at-home device is a one-time purchase that delivers unlimited sessions. The break-even point usually arrives within the first year — after that, every session is effectively free.
What clinic treatments cost in 2026
Published UK clinic price lists (for example Amina Beauty, Dunstable, 2026) show typical single-session pricing: full-face HIFU £399, face and neck £489, jawline £289, brow lift £159, with premium London clinics charging £1,000+ for combined protocols. Light-therapy and LDM facials typically run £80–£250 per session, and clinics usually recommend a course of 4–8 sessions for visible results.
What an at-home device costs
- SENNEY™ NIR S2 (near-infrared light with cooling): £434 one-time — comparable to 2–5 clinic light facials.
- SENNEY™ Titan Glow (dual-light brightening and firming): £649 — typically less than a single course of clinic brightening treatments.
- SENNEY™ Athena 6-in-1 (NIR, SSR, HIFU, LDM, plasma + AI analysis): £1,999 — around the cost of 3–5 full-face clinic HIFU sessions, but usable indefinitely, for the whole household.

Our recommendation
If you are 30–55 and your goal is prevention, skin quality and firmness maintenance, a certified at-home device delivers the best cost-per-result. If you have significant skin laxity or want a one-off structural lift, see a qualified practitioner first — a good home device then keeps the results going for free. Every SENNEY™ device ships with a 30-day money-back guarantee and lifetime free repair, so you can test this math risk-free.
